Oooooooh boy. This feels like a first draft where the author shoved EVERY single idea she had into it, and then never edited it or took things out. There are so many things happening in this book and none of them are entertaining. The romance is basically nonexistent even though it’s marketed as a “cozy fantasy romance.” The plot makes absolutely no sense, and there’s isn’t really a “cozy” vibe to it either. There are a multitude of grammar and syntax mistakes that take you completely out of the story, and the writing feels as if a middle-schooler wrote it. Would not recommend.
