These dwarves are short tempered and overly protective about their home, as fantasy dwarves use to be. Problem is that this is a children’s book where things ought to be easy, right? Not really, in this case.
For once Tann meet people that he thinks are nice, but they seem even worse than the dragon Nidaros. The problems are a bit more realistic here, witch is both good and bad, in that it’s breaking the pace of the series and puts it in bit of another mood.
