The Complete Maus by Art Spiegelman
5.0
5 stars
This book is absolutely great. The story is told so well. The characters are explained/developed well, which makes it such a touching and compelling read, as opposed to merely a 'history book'. The use of the animals and masks makes for very nice, but also easy to read illustrations. This is the first graphic novel (I think) I read as an adult and it has definitely encouraged me to read more of them.
