Most of this book was a charming and fun enemies-to-lovers with some pretty funny banter from the secondary characters but
for someone so smart it was infuriating that she didn't even guess at Shmac's identity when the clues were so painfully obvious. Also, the surprise twist kidnapping and attempted murder with 20 pages to go just felt so out of left field and out of touch with the rest of the book.
