“Because life wasn’t ideal. It turned and bent. It spun you out for a minute and swung you right back in the next.”

Whoaa~ it's been a long time since I read my last contemporary romance and this book has been on my bookshelf for a long time, so since I'm in a mood for romance book I pick up this book and suprisingly it brings much fun to me.

Catalina needs a date to her sister's wedding where her ex and his fiancee will attend it too. She needs to find a date in short of time and when she was desperate for a date, Aaron, her office colleague but also the person she hated at the office, offered to help her as her date to Spain.

Tbh, I know the story will lead me to an expected ending, but the plot is entertaining and swoon-worthy enough so I pretty have much fun while reading the book. The book is focused on relationship development between our main characters. The problem is the book has one POV which is Catalina's POV and I'm not really satisfied with it bcs I really want to know Aaron's POV, like.. how he thinks and feels about Catalina, about all of the situations that happens to them, etc.

Although there isn't much characters development from any of characters, yet they all are pretty likeable especially our fmc and mmc.
- Catalina is such a bubbly character and fun to be around, although sometimes she can be tiresome for me.
- Aaron, how should I say.. He is a green flag man, I mean, he is sweet and charming, he knows every detailed of Catalina, he cares abt her, abt her family, he learned to speaks Spanish. I love him.
- Rosalie a.k.a Rosie, she's such a mood. Catalina and her, together they are freaking hilarious, just like a real "life" bff (well, they are).

The romance? slow-burn, forced proximity, fake dating. Idk why people saying this book has enemies-to-lovers bcs they are'nt really an enemies?!! Anyway, it has some smut that I've never expected to happen lol but okay..
