I have really enjoyed both books in this series so far. The lead character, Jules, is smart, sassy, fun, impetuous and a loyal friend. The author has crafted a well plotted story that keeps the reader engaged until the end. This is in part due to the wonderful cast of characters but also the solid mystery. The author leads us on a merry adventure as Jules tries to uncover the identity of the killer. As she undertakes her own investigation, the author does a wonderful job of creating viable suspects with believable motives and sprinkles clues throughout the book. I, for one, was taken by surprise by the killer's identity. I will be looking for more installments in this series.
