I really enjoyed this book. It was my first entry into the “gothic” genre and I must say I am hooked. The big personalities of each character really made the book just fly by. The world was immersive and the plot line was something right up my alley. I love the way the horror was written to maintain a beauty to it. I’ll be thinking about this book for a while and I expect to dive into similar books. I will likely also read more by this author. Truly a 5 star read.
