Boy Meets Maria by PEYO, Kōsei Eguchi
4.0
To be honest this was the first book I read that focused on trauma caused by sexual abuse. I’m not usually into that type of stuff especially because of how I’m repulsed by anything sexual but this wasn’t graphic enough to be disgusting so I could manage. I even liked it quite a lot.
The story was about a amab person who was forced to live as a girl (Maria) for all their childhood and also r@ped by one of their teachers (this teacher looked similar to another one in the novel and I was confused because of that lol). This led Maria to be confused about their gender identity and therefor have depression. But then they met this other guy, Taiga who fell in love with him or her, or them, because to this other guy it didn’t matter what gender Maria was.
