This book was beautiful. I found myself repeatedly looking up references as I listened and read. The timelines referenced and the way in which the story is broken up between the two main characters and their communication with each other made this very difficult to put down. The prose was almost lyrical. I did not expect to be as emotionally attached to the outcome of this story as I was. Very glad that I picked it up!
