This is a fast paced legal thriller. It is written very well. The plot unfolds quickly with court room drama. The story centres on Judge Cate Fante. Due to a series of questionable personal choices, her professional life comes undone. To set things  right, Cake embarks on a journey that puts her in grave danger. As she acts as detective, there are many twists and turns. The author writes in an engaging style. I enjoyed this book very much.
