I have more appreciation for the Gould League and the scientific artist Elizabeth Gould in a time where study natures animals meant killing them. Elizabeth create some of the best rendering of Australian fora and furna. I especially loved reading about the Australian expedition and felt the heart ache around either loosing children or sick children. She was the super mum of her time.
