I really enjoyed this one by Annabelle Anders! This is such a great start to the new series. I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about Colette after her appearance in The Cocky Marquess, but I ended up loving her so much more than her sister. I also found the Duke to be quite enchanting. Colette proved to be very intelligent and while stubborn, she didn’t allow fear to take hold for too long. I always hate when authors overuse their heroines low self esteem issues as a plot device. I found their love believable.

My only criticism is that I wish the story had more to it. It’s a quick little romance, and I would have loved even more. I guess that’s not really a criticism though haha.
