Where do I even start with this book? First I love a book with good mental health representation and this book has it. Between the FMC and the MMCs son, there is such solid mental health representation. Then, you bring in amazing race disparity issues, plus size FMC, and so many amazing pieces that ultimately brings Winter to life. 

this book made me smile, cry, sigh, and so so much more. For being a debut book, this was a 10/10. It was absolutely a slow burn and the cliffy! AUGH!

one of the best parts of this entire book though was Kitten. He was so well written and shined such an amazing light on service pets. 

kudos Shaw, I’m a reader now. I can’t wait for the next book!
