This started out REALLY strong. Beautiful writing, character development, all of it. And it was a good book in the end but the flourish it started out with kind fades toward the end? Almost as if the author was just trying to get to the finish. Again not bad at all but it was a 5 ⭐️ book through the first 75% but didn’t see it through.
