Perfect horror! This book is a beautifully-constructed story, excellently paced, and with characters who have the ideal Grady Hendrix blend of humour and well-observed voice to make them feel real (this book has the best depiction of an adult brother-sister relationship I have read). This is a story ripe for adaptation - Vivid description of people, images, and scenes, aided by excellent reading in the audiobook version, make this feel a very filmic sort of book.
