Lords of Mercy by Angel Lawson, Samantha Rue

While this book is a great conclusion to the trilogy, it honestly feels like a completely separate storyline from the first two, as it should. Story leaves at the end of book 2 and comes back, and it’s under the conditions of openness and honesty and less controlling and like NONE of the contract. We finally get more group spicy scenes (YES) and I’m so so so so glad her pregnancy doesn’t happen until towards the very very end. I really thought surprise baby was going to happen the first time the author talked about her cramps and how Tristian was caring for her on her period.

The SHOCK of who Ted was! Half one person, half another?! Loved that. It was a great reveal that didn’t feel forced or like a total stretch. Always knew the lawyer was going to be a dirty lackey, but not the mastermind.
