I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman
5.0
For a novel that provides so few answers, it is a truly satisfying experience. Harpman illustrates a world in beautiful prose that do not need the trappings of detailed fleshed-out apocalyptica. Instead, the writing itself makes up for the overwhelming sense of vagueness and unreality of the book. Moving ideas on what it means to live and/or survive, learn, and love.
