This book was an interesting study in human behavior, especially under dire circumstances, such as the end of the world. Mixed in with this was a good murder mystery and some sci-fi. It did seem to drag on at times, and to be a bit unnecessarily long or even convoluted, but overall, I enjoyed the concept, and the journey with the characters had to take in order to solve the mysteries.
