Wow, I picked up this book on the recommendation of my 11 year old daughter. She had read it when she was 9. It was very well written and although a fairytale/fantasy type book written for younger children I thoroughly enjoyed it. It shocked me but I had a hard time putting it down. I would recommend this book to almost any age group, even reading it to younger children.
