The Adventures of Stephen Curry: The Children's Book by Troy DaVinci

4.0

Beautiful book that shows you can achieve anything

I won this in a Giveaway and this was a really insightful and beautiful children’s book. I don’t know anything about basketball and I actually am not a fan of Stephen but I can say, the illustrations are beautiful, truly. And I was pleasantly surprised that I learned a lot more about Stephen Curry that I thought I would.

I’m not a cold hearted Satan for not giving a children’s book 5 stars (which I normally do) , but I was thrown off by the obvious spelling and punctuation errors. And there were a lot of pages that had two of four paragraphs of writing. Break it down(for the kids)!!!There’s only 20 pages, it’s not like any of these changes would’ve taken long!!

And I wish the timeline of Stephens age and level of school education was clearly written in...for example they show a illustration of him and his brother, but you don’t know if he’s the older or younger brother (I assume older). The book also says he had dreams to be a “college basketball player” when he was little which seems really specific. Maybe it’s just me, but most kids just dream of being NBA. Not college. So it would’ve helped to know if he was in middle or high school at that time.

Otherwise cute story, and I’m sure his fans appreciate this
