lol alright let’s get into this one! This was my first Tessa Bailey and I was disappointed! You cannot tell me that you can make the main character a SEXY CLOWN?! Like you’re joking. The minute I heard that I almost shut it off. But I gave it a chance. Every time she mentioned she was a clown I was like yeah this is not a great look. I just don’t know how you can make this sexy. I enjoyed the smut, that was smutty. I listened to this one on audio and was dying because you have this sexual scene and then a sentence later is talking about her being a clown and I just could not take it seriously. Also a rich clown?! She owns her own house AND can renovate it? In this economy?? Sorry, still on the clown thing. I’m usually okay with pet names, but not the biggest fan. I could not handle the “baby girl” he kept using. I think it’s the mix of the clown and that she was the younger sister of his best friend. It just immediately gave me the ick. Also SOOO over used. Want a fun drinking game while reading this? Drink every time you read/hear “baby girl” (good luck!). Maybe I’ll give this author another chance on another book? But smut was good!
