This was my first read from Harlan Coben and I’m so glad to have read a fantastic thriller after the past few I’ve read have left me disappointed.
It has short, fast-paced chapters that keep you hooked. It is intense from the very first line, which I actually saw on social media and it was the reason I added it to my tbr. My heart was racing whilst reading this, and I was so invested in discovering the truth, even though the characters I found quite unlikeable. There were so many family lies and deception, it is a thriller full of drama.
There were some conveniences in this thriller but it was still so well done and the twists I didn’t see coming. Also I’ve got to say I had a real dislike for Special Agents Max and Sarah. I really didn’t like their interrogation style and whenever the plot was focused on them. 
I would definitely be interested in reading more from Harlan Coben and luckily his backlist is very extensive.
