Reading this made me realize that so many people aren’t being their genuine selves because of homophobic people around them, mostly family. Or being afraid of the opinions of others, in general.

What if how we feel on the inside is truly who we are? Aside from the “gendered” body parts we inherit at birth.

Not really here for a debate, these are just thoughts I had while reading.

Reincarnation is definitely possible, and often times the same soul comes back but takes a different physical appearance. - IMO

But what if the soul has an identity of its own? An identity it’s had for every reincarnation? One that doesn’t want to be molded into something different to fit the modern norms or the acceptance of others?

Vivek was born the same day his grandmother died, with a scar identical to hers.

Vivek knew and felt that he was different, different from who he was expected to be.

I’m glad that this story showed how trust in friendships, in all relationships, is beneficial. Having people around you that love you - regardless.

People that see you without judgement. But the most important thing is the ability to see yourself and accept who you are.
