The Nesting Place: It Doesn't Have to Be Perfect to Be Beautiful by Myquillyn Smith

5.0

"That's why this book isn't about decorating a house. It's about creating a beautiful, meaningful home that you love. Right where you are. It includes practical tops, but more important, it presents a philosophy of decorating that I've found so freeing that it guides every decorating decision I make in my own home."
⠀⠀
I really enjoyed this book. Like Myquillyn (@thenester), I'm not a person who decorates her home according to trends, but according to what I like. I agreed with so many points she made in this book and gained some valuable insight into how I am and should be viewing the place where I reside.
⠀⠀
It boils down to this. A home is about it's function as well as it's beauty and both of those things require a balance. Plus: natural light is always your friend:).
