Varsity Heartbreaker by Ginger Scott

5.0

You know, it's funny. Not haha funny, but funny that it's most often the children who pay for their parents' behaviors and actions. Ginger Scott pens the perfect example of how kids struggle when they feel like a fish out of water, live with lies, love and hate, realize no one is as perfect as they seem, and that life is just a series of happenstance. Lucas is definitely a swoon-worthy hero. I love the name June. It's so rarely used and I love how well it fits her character.

As with all of her books, Ms. Scott delivers a life lesson, a message if you will, and it's very well received. I'm looking forward to the next two books in this series. They're sure to be 5 star winners just like this one!
