It amazes me that lesbians in China in the 1920s can feel so familiar to me a lesbian in the United States in the 2020s. I can only hope at the end of this story Yingman found Yunluo and whisked her away to live alone together happily even if it was only for a little while longer. May Romeo always have ger Juliet wrapped in her arms. This story reminds me that even 100 years ago the moon shone upon lesbians with her soft light. This was a lovely read. I very much enjoyed it even if it broke my heart a little.
