I am not sure why it is surpsing to me but, I am surprised at how much I actually enjoyed this book.

Maybe because the American classics I have read before all fell very short for me and I did not enjoy them -at all. So this is a first for me, to read Ana Mercian classics and actually having a good time doing so!

Maybe cause this was short and sweet? Not sure.

I really enjoyed nick's point of view during the story and discovering/ wondering about things with him.
I really enjoyed the gatsby moments and hated just about all other characters.

The writing was so easy and nice to get through.

I can't really explain it better thin this, so let's just leave it at that I enjoyed this a great deal and that I will look into other books by fitzgerald since his writing is wonderful and I enjoyed how be told the story in great detail but without dragging it out unnecessarily long.

Wonderful book! Really a deserved well loved classic!
