Disappointing after such classics as The Firm and The Pelican Brief.

Although I have no evidence, I fear that he might be being tempted to go down the collaboration/ghost writer route in order to keep turning out books under his name, like some other big thriller writers. That would be a terrible mistake and I hope he manages to avoid it. Better to have a good book every few years than mediocre every year just to fill publisher's demands.
