Fast, fun, freaky. Tensions flare and inevitably explode between characters, set off by isolation and an already fractured relationship. Marceau’s wheelhouse seems to be short horror, and having read a story collection of hers last year, she does know how to pack a couple wallops into tight spaces.

Gets to be a little predictable which is unfortunately easy to do in a 90 or so page book: short time frame means faster buildups and, sometimes, less creative legroom.
