Kingsnake & Larisa: These Two Smoldered! 5 Stars

I'll get right to the point; this book was awesome, and I loved it.

A plague has swept throughout the land and not only humans were affected by this plague, but also the vampires. As they feed on humans to survive, the plague has tainted their blood and once consumed, it ends the vampire as well. Faced with either treachery or starvation, Kingsnake, a Vampire King is forced to go into the village and demand the King to volunteer humans to feed his vampire colony or else, they will declare war on the kingdom and take what they want. Forced to submit, King Elias gives into the demand and unwillingly gives his former lover, Larisa, as she appears to be the only one who is immune to the disease.

Kingsnake and Larisa kept me turning the pages on this book. Their chemistry leaps off the page at the beginning of the book and the reader is instantly enamored with Kingsnake's stoic charm and Larisa's fire. The story kept me engaged and the side characters are superb. I can't wait until the next book is released!

If you love broody, sexy af vampires, then this is one you definitely want to pick up and read.
