This took me a long time to read, aa slow-paced books aren't really my thing. However, once I was into the book, it was hard to put down. The characters are lovable, but at times I was really frustrated that

they didn't declare their feelings sooner!

It was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster, and I couldn't help but smile every time Shannon and Johnny interacted. Amd that cliffhanger! I wasn't planning on reading book 2 so soon, but I don't think I can leave it now.
