This was a 3.75 for me. I started this almost a year ago and I randomly picked it back up to read again. This had the potential of being very good considering how strong it started. However, after awhile I started to get bored with the story and it felt lackluster to me. I felt like something was missing in the plot that could have tied it together better. Overall, I did enjoy this read and I had fun reading about Evie & Beckett!

Update: rereading this in audio format actually helped me understand this book better. It definitely has a some pacing issues but hearing the conversations between Evie & Beckett, Beckett & his family definitely made this much more enjoyable. BK Morrison has truly made a fan outta me 🙂‍↕️
