Wow. What a disappointment! I was really excited to read this book after completing My Sister's Keeper. I started it two days ago when I was sick and I finished it yesterday. Ugh. I'm sorry but it was not at all realistic and while I enjoyed some parts of it, it was overly sentimental and far-fetched. There were far too many things that were never addressed, Emily's character was completely unbelieveable and while the poignancy of some parts were incredible and overwhelming, the sappiness of the rest ruined it for me. I'm glad I read My Sister's Keeper first, because I probably won't read any more by her for a while. Unless someone can suggest one that I might really like, because I really did love the first one I read!
