I feel like this is a 5 ⭐️ read for me. But I’m still thinking. The main reason I think it wouldn’t be is because I’m still a little confused on the war between the two Gods (however, with the way this ended, I’m assuming we’ll get more answers in the sequel)… speaking of — THAT CLIFFHANGER!!!! I need to know NOW😭 

Overall, this story was told beautifully, or rather Divinely!! Every word written seemed magically crafted to pull this complex storyline together with historical context, ethereal creatures, magical fantasy elements, modern(ish) politics/backstories — I was completely immersed in what was happening. This played out like a giant love letter as will as a need for survival. I’m so excited to see where the next one goes.
