Cath, 19, is an unconditional fan of the Simon Snow universe. She also writes fanfiction and is well recognized in the fandom. But when she enters university, everything changes : her twin sister distances herself, her boyfriend no longer speaks to her, her roommate is not very friendly and her writing professor is quite hostile to fanfictions.

I haven't read the novel so I can't say if this graphic novel adaptation is accurate, but I really enjoyed it ! Aesthetically, the drawings are very beautiful and I really liked the manga inspiration. And the exclusive cover is superb !

Story-wise, this first volume introduces the plot well. On the other hand, I find that the characters are not developed enough (I guess they will be later). Despite this, I became very attached to the main character, Cath, I think that we can easily relate to her. I also really liked the Levi, he is the definition of golden retriever energy ! And I can't wait to learn more about Nick and see how his relationship with Cath is going to evolve.

It's definitely a perfect read if you're looking for something quite lighthearted and cosy !
