Alone With You in the Ether by Olivie Blake
5.0
I don't think I can be as formal as I want to because this book is raw, it will make you feel things. Regan and Aldo's arcs differ from one another because their complexities are not really synonymous, yet together they make sense.
Olivie Blake's writing style really captured the shallowness and the depths of these two main characters. Alone With You in the Ether is filled with intellectual conversations and discussions, and even though you have no idea what they were talking about at first, you learned with them, and I admire that writing quality. It's not pretentious, it doesn't try to outwit the readers, it lets it be absorbed and consumed.
I laughed at their chemistry and cried over it. If you want to read a book that feels like watching a film, this is for you.
Personally, from start to finish, with its prose and pace, everything is perfect. I loved it.
