The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien

4.0

This was my first time listening to an audio of this making it the second time ever reading this. I kept making comparison with the movie and so, I felt a bit disappointed by it while still appreciating it, if it makes sense?

It took me a while because I was listening to it on my way to and from work, giving me about 30 minutes per day approximately. I didn't remember how many songs there was in this and when I mention it, everybody is looking at me funny.

I didn't much care for the songs. I think Rob Inglis did a good job reading this but I might have liked Andy Serkis' better? I don't know. I do wish the voices had more differences to better tell who was who. This is an excellent story and I wish I had the other two in audio, but I don't.
