it's not that I didn't like the first book, but I didn't love it. now I read the first one physically and this one digitally so it may have something to do with it, because the long chapters really got to me for the first one.

I also feel like we learned so much more about the love interest of this book than the first one, like who even is Hex I don't know anything about him. I wasn't sure if I would even read this one but I'm glad I conveniently had KU and was looking for a St. Pat's day book at this time.
