After Sappho by Selby Wynn Schwartz

3.5

I enjoyed this more as a concept than as an experience.

Sapphic artists of the past are woven together to create this body of work. There are glimpses of each their lives in vignettes that take you on their journey as they struggle for visibility in a society that oppresses, ignores, and undervalues women - and punishes them for their queerness.

Brilliant work just couldn't fully immerse myself in this.
