challenging informative slow-paced

4.25

This book is extremely informative on the what, where, when, how, and who (and some of the why) of drugs and addiction. It has a formulaic structure on exploring the history, effects on the body and brain, and dangers of tons of different types of drugs. I learned a ton from this book. It was slow and a bit repetitive at times but I would read it again for the wealth of knowledge it contains.
