I thought the actual stalker/stalking would be a bigger part of the book—that it would be much darker than it actually is, honestly. I wish there had been more close-call instances to make me feel more concerned than I was throughout the book; the drugging, filming, and sexual assault aspects had my back up, but I had no real worries about the stalker beyond those two scenes. When we formally met the perpetrator, I enjoyed the glimpses of madness and wished that the author had included more of those peeks into their mind with more than some childish “get rid of your boyfriend!” texts.
Overall, it was fine. If I listened to it again, I wouldn’t be mad about it, but it’s not one I’ll actively search for in my library.
