Across the Green Grass Fields by Seanan McGuire
5.0
this series is such an interesting up and down reading h experience with me.
i absolutely love some books and dislike others quiet strongly.
this book was once again one that i really enjoyed so much.
i loved the main character and her struggles and her world and how it all ended.
i loved the horse centered world and how she fits into it so wonderfully into a world where she is so completely different.
i loved how this book deals with being different and struggling with that - a lot.
and how utterly mean especially girls can be towards each other because it’s sadly encouraged in school instead of making sure girls understand that they should support each other.
i just really loved this one.
it was as different as the second one: down among the sticks and bones.
and i loved both of those from the series.
but i can also see where other people would struggle and dislike this book because of how different this book is.
it worked for me and i am so happy about it!
