This was glorious!
Such a different kind of Alien book and so much sass!
So much, sass, unbelievable amounts of it and sarcasm! I love sarcastic characters and kicker is just so enormously wonderful sassing her way out of situations or using sarcasm to try to do that.
It's wonderful!
The world building is great, everything is explained and used in a way that you don't get confused by all thane different words and things around this book, and since kricket is new to it all as well? It's makes it so easy to follow along because all the time she is just as confused as the reader in a situation and wants and explanation so we get one! Wonderfully written!
Since I am already talking about the writing, it's great. Is wond ful, glorious! It sucks you in and makes you not want toms top reading, for anything! I mean who the heck needs sleep? Or has things to do! If you do don't start this book! It will not least you leave it u till you turn the last page!!
The characters are pretty great as well, they are sometimes very typical new work, Royal tier kind of thing and maybe slightly predictable. With the bad guy, and the slimy guy, and the creepy guy, and the fantastic funny friends, and the sexy savior. We have all those here. But even if they are a bit clique bartol make it work in a way that tied doesn't feel overused! So that is great!
I also love that kricket doesn't just feel at home on this strange literary alien planet that she was kidnapped on to, or that she just lays down and let things happen. She fights, she doesn't give up, she tries to chance the things that are happening to her. Is just... Did I mention glorious already? Because this book is just that!
One negative thing? kricket? Kind of a stupid name. Just saying. I mean the other people have mostly normal names, but kricket? So yeah, only negative thing i have, which is just about world chancing! So there! See how much I loved this book with the basically non existing negative list right here!
I had a fantastic time reading this! I can't wait to get starts with the second book in this series!
