Bonnie Lincoln has had a tough life, until she wins the lottery and decides to leave reality behind completely. We follow her on this journey of fully immersing herself in her favourite TV show Three's Company.

God, I loved this book. This story felt like such relatable satire, Bonnie was such a fantastic protagonist, that I loved to root for. I totally get where she's coming from, probably not as extreme, but sometimes I would very much like to live in my favourite TV Shows, and never talk to real people again💁🏻‍♀️

The writing is fantastic. Don't you just hate it when you read a book,  find a new favourite author, and then you realise it's their debut. Very bittersweet, but also super impressive, because this book was so good. Bonnie felt real to me, she was so funny but also so tragic, I just wanted to give her a hug, but I also knew that she'd very much hate that.

I was scared going in that knowing very little about Three's Company might hinder my experience, but 10 minutes of an episode on YouTube was all I needed to get the gist. The story references the show a lot, obviously, but Bonnie as a character shines through brighter.

Highly recommend if you love weird character driven narratives centred around lonely protagonists. This book is just brilliant.
