I wasn’t prepared for the emotional upheaval this book gave me. I was expecting something much less involved with the whole codependent PTSD thing. A little fluffier. 

That’s not a bad thing, I just wasn’t prepared for it. 

That said, I liked this book a lot less while I was reading it than now that I’m done. I think that’s partially due to cockwarming not being my kink in addition to the liberal use of the F-slur early on. 

It wasn’t a bad book for the right reader. It just turns out it wasn’t for me.
