basically an adaptation of the "thirteen days" sequences from the game. i ended up reading a kind of bad fan translation that i don't doubt probably took some of the emotional effectiveness out of the words, but also this doesn't really tell you anything you wouldn't have already known from playing the game, so i'm not sure it's a terribly worthy addition to the canon
