I really enjoyed this one, we follow Geo, and Angela who are best friends in high school. And one night Angela disappears without a trace. No one ever suspected her best friend, Georgina Shaw (Geo), now an executive, was involved in any way. Certainly not Kaiser Brody, who was close to both girls in high school.
But 14 years later her remains are found in the woods near Geo's childhood home. And Kaiser, now a detective with the Seattle PD, finally learns the truth: Angela was a victim of Calvin James. The same Calvin James who murdered at least 3 other women.
To the authorities, Calvin is a serial killer. But to Geo, he's something else entirely. Back in high school, Calvin was Geo's first love. Turbulent and often volatile, their relationship bordered on obsession from the moment they met right up in until the night Angela was murdered.
Every thinks they know all there is to know, but just as Geo is released from prison after her 5 year sentence, murders start happening again in the exact matter as Angela...with a slight difference! Is Calvin murdering again? What are the rest of the secrets that Geo has buried?
I didn't see the twist coming, I should have but I missed it. Those that have read it did u see it?
