honestly this play sucks. I'm sure it was cool on stage but I've read bad fanfics that were more canon compliant and in-character.
the only part I enjoyed was the cute moments between Ron and Hermione and the fact that Scorpius is just like the fandom made him back in 2009. Harry in this play made me want to put my fist through the wall. How dare he tell his own son he regretted ever having him. JKR forgot who her own characters are.
