Still on my holiday romance kick. I've seen this series on booksta a lot and decided to give this one a shot. While it takes place on a Christmas tree farm it doesn't really qualify as a holiday romance. I don't gravitate to friends to lovers and this book reminded me why. They end up fake dating because she lied on a contest application. But she's been in love with him for years and he is clearly in love with her too. If they would literally have one honest conversation this book would be half the length it is. It's was so wild that the MMC Luka literally says to the FMC Stella 'we could just keep dating forever' and frenches her and she's convinced he's just a good actor. Honestly infuriating.
