Best find ever .. you won’t regret this audiobook because 
Sometimes there’s that one book that will surprise and surpasses your expectations…Sterling Clay does just that..
This beautifully executed performances by Narrators Willa Jaymes as Mavis Grant the FMC, and Oliver Highpoint as Clay Sylver the MMC stole my heart! 
Their storytelling of this poignant late in life happily ever after love story with a bit of drama and suspense of this audiobook was perfection.

Ok Let’s get to this one!

Clay 
was caught out in the storm on the side of the road but was picked up by none other than the last person he’d ever expected to see .. 
Mavis Grant the woman whom he had a crush on all these years and believe he couldn’t have. 
But as sick as he was..seeing Mavis in his home just then ..he knew he wanted her to stay and never thought he would ever get his chance to be with her .. until now .

Mavis 
Upon returning to Sterling Falls, a single mom without a clear path ahead with No place to live. No job. No money. A place she would once consider safe, a place she once called home , Mavis now has other plans in mind for her and her cub. Little Dutton her Son .

But fate would have it When she saw Clay the silver Fox she had a secret crush on stranded on the side of the road one dark, stormy night, she had to offer assistance. Burning with fever, and extremely sick, her mom-instincts kick in to give him comfort. 
But that decision would throws her off course again. 
With secrets and a past , Mavis find herself falling in love with Sterling Falls once more and falling even harder for the man giving her and her son little Dutton a safe place that’s beginning to feel like home.
But unfortunately her past was catching up to her and would soon enough burst that safe happy bubble.

But as Mavis plans to run Clay decides to dig in, to show Mavis just as much as she believes he’s saving her it’s her who’s saving him.
And that Mavis and little Dutton has become his world and there’s nothing he wouldn’t do to keep them as his own safe and loved.

Mama Bear, PapaBear, BabyBear .

Clay is a great sweet giving gentle loving man and his family was so warm and close knit the sort of family Mavis dream of being part of. 
My favorite part was when Mavis Dad Showed up. It was evident how special family is in that moment. 
But Jesus I totally love the narrators for this story .. Fantastic! That’s what their performances were! 

Definitely recommend this sweet later in life small town romance 🌻
